Building A Lightsaber At Disney World

If you've ever been to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios, then you know that there's lots of fun to be had on the planet Batuu.

You can fight against the First Order on Rise of the Resistance or fulfill a lifelong dream and fly the Millennium Falcon. As far as food goes, you have great quick service options like Ronto Roasters and Docking Bay 7, and if you're thirsty, you can stop by Oga's Cantina or the Milk Stand. And if you've always wanted to build a lightsaber like a Jedi, you can do that too — however, it looks like you may need to save up a little extra!

For the ultimate lightsaber-building experience, guests can make a reservation at Savi's Workshop. Here, you can choose your kyber crystal color and construct your own lightsaber hilt just like the Jedi and Sith do! This experience used to be $199 plus tax per person, but this morning we spotted a price increase on Disney World's website!

Now, building a lightsaber will cost you $219 plus tax per person. With this price, a guest will get to build one lightsaber, although they do get to invite one other person to watch. This experience is pretty popular, so if you want to try it out, you'll want to make your reservation 60 days in advance.

You can build your saber however you'd like!

We reached out to a Cast Member to clarify the details of this price change. We were told that if you currently have a Savi's Workshop reservation (made before today) then you will be charged the old price upon arrival. If you make the reservation today or later, you will be paying the new, increased price.
