Hi, I have never had an issue logging in before, but this week when I tried to log in from my new computer it asked me to verify my account using my alternate email address.
I haven't used that alternate address in a long time (it's the optusnet one) and as it turns out, it has been deleted..
I never thought to check it because I am now using a gmail account which i have linked to my Flickr account, and that is where Flickr contact me regularly.
It won't give me any other options to get into my account even though I know my username and password

Today I Googled Flickr, then went into Groups as I always do to access my account, but my usual group is not there, only 3 other groups I belong to. Nature's Image Photography Graduate Forum says I am still a member, and the administrator has no idea why I can see all individual members of the group, and activities on my photos, but not the group discussions etc. When I was asked for my Yahoo sign in,(I never usually get asked this) I had no idea, so inadvertently seemed to set up another Flickr id - 130136735@N06. Flickr accounts can not be "merged", each account is tied to its own unique Yahoo ID.

I created a yahoo account a long long looong time ago, so when I try to recover my password with my recovery emails I can't access those old emails for the same reason (super old account, don't remember passwords. they are AOL accounts). I can name the two backup recovery emails but I can't get into them to have a password sent to them.

My passwords/logins on my browser has been saved in the settings for the longest time so I haven't had to type in my login for a good long time. I accidentally cleared my browser of my saved passwords recently.... :(

please help, I love this account and I would hate to have lost it.

I once tried to change my email address, since I had an old verizon.yahoo account that is not longer active. When I did, I ended up with a new account with the same email address--and this defunct email as the name of the page. But I can log into it with my yahoo address. But my old account exists (I can see it, just can't log in) and I would love to consolidate these to have my pictures but also be able to add to them.

Any ideas. I can't avoid showing my old email address--since it is the login title.

I too couldn't logon to an account created for a non profit gallery without a new yahoo ID so flickr directed me to create a new yahoo email address then created a new flickr account (which i was unaware of) - after uploading 25 photos and editing them and passing along embed info to a web designer I discovered i was in a new account and not the place I started at. This is a huge waste of time - why isn't flickr linking back to the original (correct) account after being redirected?

I followed the instructions above and added @yahoo.com to my original login name and it worked. Why wouldn't this be communicated to everyone at login rather than hidden in the "help" forum? Now on to redoing yesterday's work and deleting the new account flickr created when I tried to create a yahoo email address. I Won't be recommending flickr to anyone after this.

I had received an email from Yahoo! informing me that Flickr had become incompatible with mobile internet explorer, with the advice that another browser or an independent App be used to log in from the smartphone.

I have tried to use the UC browser and Apps like Indulged and Flickr Central. I am persistently getting an "Invalid Yahoo! ID" error page on the phone.

I can sign into and access my Yahoo! account with the mobile IE browser on the same phone but even when signed into Yahoo! when I try to access Flickr I get an "Invalid Yahoo! ID" error message.

There is no issue with accessing the account on the desktop.

Was setup by previous employee and we do not know any of the login information. We could track it down if we knew what email address was on file possibly. Are there any other possible ways to regain access to the account if we cant access the phone or email on file? We have control of the website so I have ways of verifying that we are the owners.

I can no longer access my account using the primary email account, I believe because it was a Rogers/Yahoo email account, and I no longer have that account.

I tried using the beammeup tool and tried an email address that I had setup as a secondary one, and I did in fact get that email, but I am still unable to login to the account with the original account's email, or that other email.

It is the account I moved from because you don't allow permanent URL changes. I tried to log in with the secure password and someone had changed it. I went to recover my account and there are no security questions nor phone number recovery, but just the hacker's email address.

You'll need to create a support ticket and email it to me at my new account here. Any correspondence going to the account listed above will go to the hacker.

Please help.

Of course this means I cannot access the account as I am just sent round in circles. I believe the account was hacked and would simply like to delete the account altogether. Unfortunately I cannot delete the account without signing in. I cannot sign in without the secret answer. I cannot retrieve the secret answer or reset a password as the account is using the yahoo email address that I cannot sign into to send the reset password link. So frustrating. I understand I should have set up a proper recovery email and will in future, but on this occasion I think it's just a lost cause.

Or advise on what to do next?

The account belongs to a school (a partner of the account I am posting from) so I would rather not just leave the account active and unused. If the account cannot be accessed it needs to be deleted.

THERE IS STILL A FUNDAMENTAL DISCONNECT THOUGH: What if Yahoo closed the account that's associated with your Flickr? Where would you receive the shiny message? I have a new Yahoo account that is active, but not associated with Flickr. So there would be no connection between it and my Flickr account. You see the problem?

Please advise. Also how is it that Yahoo or Flickr does not have actual customer service to troubleshoot this stuff??

This is my old flickr account. I can't access my old yahoo account since it seems the recovery email has been hacked (I can't recognize it).
Not even the backup tool has been useful since none of my current addresses are associated to yahoo or flickr.
I can't find where to create a support ticket either.
I just want to delete the account since I'm not using it any more and don't like my photos floating onto the Internet.
Please note (I repeat) I don't have access to the yahoo account linked to flickr, all of the interactions should be now made through this new account.

I don't known becasue, but this weekend my flickr account has been deleted. If I enter to the gallery url, I get a 404 error.

The page www.flickr.com/signin reject my yahoo user "something".

The page www.flickr.com/signin/flickr/ said than this account (something@hotmail.com) already registered in flickr database. When press the link to recover the password, the link redirect to my yahoo account (I'm logged in the yahoo account "something" OK).

I go to www.flickr.com/beammeup. Flickr send me a email. I follow the link. Now I can login in flickr with the yahho account "something"... ¡But the account is empty! No galleries, favorites, photos,...

In www.flickr.com/account/transfer/ allow to transfer the new flckr account to other yahoo acount, but I need transfer the old flickr account (linked to something@hotmail.com) to my yahoo account "something";. This yahoo account has been created a decade ago.

Nooo it doesn't work if you dont remember your ID or the email you used. This is SUPER frustarting and I have spent two whole days trying ti access an old flickr account that I created 6 years ago and in the meantime is generating me more, I need a Human actually trying to fix the problem!! I don't remember it!!! and affects me professional, here is the thing I'm a professional photographer and now any time I type my name those pictures appear and they are the only ones showing, none from my other accounts that are more professional. PLEASE i need a person solving this, editors and professionals visit Flickr on search of people and now for this account that has no professional content, please i need this content deleted but can't access the account, I don't remember my id or email linked to it and I have tried multiple options is a road with no scape, please someone give an answerr or approach or help me delete the whole account. I have been unable to login to our pro page for some months. I believe the yahoo email that was used for login was closed or disabled due to lack of use. It was created per Flickr requirement. I prefer to use my business email.

Its not a matter of having forgotten the email or password as I keep records of those items.

I have tried the sign-in helper in an endless loop.

However, there is a circular conflict. This cannot be resolved without your technical assistance.

When I click "manage preferences" it always takes me to a NEW secondary Flickr account I created (karinhedet2). So there is no way to access my original karinhedet. None of your help tools can resolve this circular conflict.

I believe the problem originated when Yahoo archived my original linked yahoo/hotmail account. I no longer have any of those login details. They have vanished - so my original Flickr account is inaccessible.

Please help me access my original Flickr account.

Yesterday I logged into my Flickr account with no problem.

Today I kept getting email not recognized.. Tried over and over again. Finally did password change, which send verification to my phone first. Once I input the code it logs me right in.
Now when I try to log in with new password same thing happens. I have to do the whole phone verification code thing again because I get yet another message saying it doesn't recognize my email account, yet it is the correct account.

It is becoming very tedious to have to go through this everytime I want to log in when I am using the correct information.

Again, worked perfectly fine yesterday. Today, no. Used different browsers as well. Same thing.

How can this be resolved?
